Types of Products and Hoists

Coffing hoists are available in both manual and powered models. Coffing has air chain hoists and coffing electric chain hoists, coffing manual lever and chain hoists, and trolleys and trolley clamps. The Coffing JLC electric chain hoist is the most popular of our Coffing hoists used today due to its amplitude of features at a great price.

Air and Electric Chain Hoists

The Coffing brand offers both an air and electric chain hoist. The Coffing AMT Air Chain Hoist, Coffing EC Electric Chain Hoist, and Coffing's most popular model, the Coffing JLC Electric Hoist. Coffing hoists offers two types of an electric chain hoist and no wire rope hoists. Air hoists are used on a work site that needs relaiable lifting and where time is a problem. Coffing AMT Model

Designed for faster positioning and a variety of lifting applications, the Coffing AMT provides high torque and high speeds up to 60 FPM in the 2 and 3 ton models to move loads from 1/4 ton to up to 3 tons with smooth starting and excellent pendant throttled control for precise detail.

Coffing EC

The EC hook and lug suspension models are high performance Coffing hoists for heavy duty industrial services. The EC comes standard with a mechanical load brake, motor brake, and overload clutch for safety during lifts. The rated loads are from 1/4 ton to 5 tons with standard lift options of 10, 15, and 20 feet available. Coffing offers an extended duty application that exceeds the duty rating of coffing's basic EC models. The Coffing EC models exceed h4 duty service and have external strain relief for protection by securing to the NEMA 3R push button station.

Coffing JLC

The Coffing JLC is the choice for value and performance in industrial settings. The compact size allows the JLC to feature a multitude of features such as disc motor brake, overload clutch, and a chain end stop for safety. Coffing JLC is housed in a compact aluminum frame for portable transportation and installation. The JLC Coffing hoist includes features that provide ease of use for the user. These include a panel plate, five-pocket load sheave, and ergonomically designed push button station that fits the operator's hand.

LHH Hand Chain Hoist

The excellent low cost option for a manual hand chain hoist, the Coffing LHH features a low cost option for construction and contractor applications. The Coffing LHH is stamped steel for portability and easy installation in low headroom areas. The LHH hand chain hoist can move rated loads from 1/2 to 20 tons and standard lifts of 10, 15, and 20 feet. Coffing has made the LHH easy to operate using its lubricated bearing and bushings, pinions, and heat-treated spur gearing that allow efficient operation.

G Series Lever Hoist

Coffing G Series lever hoists are ideally used in utility transmission and distribution work. Its rated capacity allows it to lift from 3/4 to 15 tons. The Coffing G series ratchet lever hoist features a malleable iron roller chain which can be spliced to create longer lifts. The G series hoist can lift, pull, or bind and work in any position from its single or double locking ratchet and pawl design. The ruggedness makes the unit tamper-resistant and additionally, its free chaining mechanism and snap hook allow for faster operation and quick and easy loading and positioning of slack chain.

LSB Lever Hoist

The industry's easiest to operate ratchet lever hoist, Coffing's LSB models are rated loads of 3/4, 1-1/2, 3, and 6 tons. Standard lifts include 5, 10, 15 and 20 foot standard lifts. The LSB is different from the G Series in its lightweight design. This allows the operator to easily rig the hoist and move it anywhere from its portability. When confined to hard-to-reach areas, the LSB has a 360 degree rotating handle for versatile rigging applications.

PLAIN TROLLEY - For manual positioning of hoist and load.

GEARED TROLLEY - For more precise positioning of hoist and load. Standard hand chain drop is 2-feet less than lift.

MOTORIZED TROLLEY - For faster positioning of hoist and load over longer distances. 35 or 75 FPM speeds standard with optional speeds of 18, 24, 50, 100, and 150 FPM
